Place the grates as shown in the pictures.

 4. Install the pipes

Install the airflow controller at the bottom.

5. Install the spark arrestor at the top

To prevent the unsafe situation of pipe shaking in windy conditions or the accidental toppling of the stove, it is necessary to use Winnerwell® Guyline Peg Set to fix the three hooks of the Spark Arrestor and to fix the legs of the stove to maintain the stability of the stove.

The length of guy ropes depends on the height of the chimney.

6. Instruction for Spark Arrestor

*Spark Arrestor is packed inside one section of the standard chimney pipe.

*Please wear gloves to take the Spark Arrestor out to avoid any possible injuries.

*If you still feel it’s difficult to take the Spark Arrestor out, you can push it out with a hard object, such as the Ash Scraper.

Air intake regulation

The volume of air entering the stove is regulated by airflow controller.

After stable combustion, you can please adjust the damper to control the combustion effect.

As the intake of secondary combustion air is uninterrupted, even if the air vent on the door is fully closed, the air can not be blocked.

■ DANGER

1.DANGER: The stove is forbidden to use in air-tight environment, possible spillage of carbon monoxide will be life-threatening.
2.DANGER: The stove is designed for outdoor recreational use only, which are not intended for use in residential dwellings.
3.DANGER: Clearances To Combustible Materials- Minimum clearance from the top surface of the stove to combustible materials is 1500mm(60in). Minimum clearances from the sides, rear and corner of the stove body to the combustible materials are 1200mm(48in). Minimum clearance from the fueling and ash removal side of the stove to the combustible materials is 1200mm(48in).
4.DANGER: Always ensure you have fireproof material underneath the stove, Winnerwell® Fireproof Mat is recommended. The mat must normally extend not less than 450mm(18in) in front of the loading door and 200mm(8in) beyond the other sides and back.
5.DANGER: Minimum Chimney Height Above the Roof of the Tent or Shelter-The top of the stove chimney should be high enough to be above the air turbulence caused when wind blows against the tent/shelter and its roof. The chimney must extend at least 1m(3ft) above the highest point of contact with the roof, and at least 60cm(2ft) higher than any roof line. If the standard pipe included in the stove set cannot meet this height requirement, please purchase the spare part pipes separately.
6.DANGER: To start your fire, ensure the tent or shelter is well ventilated in the event of smoke spillage into the tent or shelter. When use this stove in a camping tent, always leave a window cracked or door opened. Ensure a minimum opening of 0.5m²(775 square inches) for adequate ventilation.
7.DANGER: Keep the damper on the Airflow Controller in a fully open position when use the stove in a tent. To turn down or to close the damper may cause possible smoke spillage and therefore cause the spillage of carbon monoxide, which will be life-threatening.
8.DANGER: With the front door air intake design, this  stove consumes the same air as the tent occupants’, this stove cannot be used in a camping tent at night unattended.
9.DANGER: Please use dry wood only! The use of damp wood or other fuels may cause incomplete combustion and produce carbon monoxide. We recommend using a carbon monoxide detector in your tent or shelter.
10.DANGER: Never use gasoline, gasoline-type lantern fuel, kerosene, charcoal lighter fluid, ethyl alcohol or similar liquids to start or “reignite” a fire in the stove. Keep all such liquids well away from the stove while it is in use.
11.DANGER: Do not insert the stove pipe directly through the tent fabric. Winnerwell® Flashing Kit and Triple-wall Heat Protector Chimney must be used. If you are using a rain fly, you must have Flashing Kit and Triple-wall Heat Protector Chimney installed on both the rain fly and the tent. Failure to adhere to these precautions could result in your tent catching fire.
12.DANGER: Check the spark arrestor and stove pipe sections daily for excessive creosote build-up and clean daily to prevent clogging and to reduce the risk of chimney fire.
13.DANGER: Never build an excessive fire, use firewood full of pitch, or burn coal in the stove. This can create excessive heat, turn the stove cherry red, and potentially warp and damage the stove.
14.DANGER: Do not burn red the stove body or the chimney pipe. If the stove body or the chimney pipe turns red, please reduce the wood inside the firebox immediately to lower the temperature of the stove, otherwise it will be easy to cause a fire and the stove will deform heavily after cooling off.
15.DANGER: The stove has on optimal temperature range between 400℉ and 700℉. Managing the stove to burn within this range is strongly recommended as low temperature may cause incomplete combustion while excessively high temperature may damage the stove. When start a fire, the temperature is very low, please keep the doors and windows of the tent or shelter fully opened to ensure a full ventilation. When it reaches the optimal temperature, keep the minimum opening for ventilation in accordance with the DANGER 6
16.DANGER: Never attempt to move the stove or pipe sections while  the stove is burning. Always ensure the stove has fully cooled before moving.
17.DANGER: Always wear heat resistant gloves or leather gloves when using the ash scraper, feeding wood into the stove, or adjusting dampers. It is strongly recommended to keep a fire extinguisher nearby in the event of an accident.
18.DANGER: When installing the Spark Arrestor, please attach guy ropes to 3 hooks at the bottom of the Spark Arrestor to keep your flue pipe stable in high winds. Windy conditions may cause the stove pipe to shake and move, which may create an unsafe situation. Consider additional guy ropes on your tent in high winds to maintain stability and to ensure the safe use of the stove.
19.DANGER: Never leave the stove burning unattended.
20.DANGER: Not intended for use by children under 16 years of age.

■ WARNING

1.WARNING: Stove components may have sharp edges or corners, be sure to handle them with care to prevent injury.
2.WARNING: Remember to open the stove door slowly with the airvent wide open to reduce smoke spillage.
3.WARNING: Try to balance the weight on either side shelf to ensure the  stability of the stove. The weight on either side should not exceed 10lbs, the maximum load-bearing weight of both side handles is 40lbs.
4.WARNING: Winnerwell® stoves can become extremely hot when in use. Special caution should be used when young children and pets are present to prevent unintentional contact with a hot stove.
5.WARNING: If elbows are used, it is necessary to support and fix the chimney pipe system with Winnerwell® LANTERN & PIPE STAND to prevent the risk of pipe tilting or pipe inclining in windy conditions.
6.WARNING: To prevent the unsafe situation of pipe shaking in windy conditions or the accidental toppling of the stove, it is necessary to use Winnerwell® Guyline Peg Set to fix the three hooks of the Spark Arrestor and to fix the legs of the stove to maintain the stability of the stove.
